VisioLab optimizes cafeteria and restaurant operations by digitizing the point of sale using AI-based visual food recognition.
Guests place their tablet under the iPads camera and all products are recognized in a fraction of a second.

Onboarding:
Employees select which dish is to be trained on the iPad without having to type in the name. Dishes that are already known remain saved, grayed-out images have to be added.
Daily changing or new dishes are added to the system with five training images. The "bounding box" draws itself to simplify the process.
Finally, employees can initiate training by clicking the "Train AI" button, which trains VisioLabs state-of-the-art food detection system on your food images.

Checkout:
The trained model is automactically downloaded. Now your guests only have to place their food plates under the iPad and our AI will recognize all products in under a second. To do this, the system uses only the iPads built-in computing power.
Finally, the guest initiates the payment process by clicking on "Pay". The scanned products are now transferred to the POS system as PLUs.
